Duomedia is a Belgium based international PR/Communications company, and at LabelExpo Europe 2019 they used the chance to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary with friends, customers, media, etc. Duomedia represents a range of companies and has over the past 20 years, building a quite impressive customer portfoil. Among the companies represented, you find brands such as Messe Düsseldorf (drupa), Bobst, Ghent Workgroup, Konica-Minolta, Ricoh, RolandDG, Sappi, Xeikon, and many more.
PR companies like Duomedia offer a range of services to their clients, and during the welcome speech by General Manager Louis De Nolf proudly speaks over their Inbound, and Outbound services. I must admit that I didn't know what these terms covered, but learned afterward that Outbound is the PR activities enabling brands to get coverage in relevant media, and Inbound is more the content building side of it.
However, speaking to some of the attendees, I got a better understanding of what services Duomedia delivers. Duomedia offers graphics design services, writing, on-location support, PR, marketing, media buy - and can be seen as an entire outsourced marketing department.
I must admit that we at INKISH have not worked with many PR companies - maybe because our business model, is so different. However, the customers and the media present at the anniversary was quite positive about Duomedia and their services. At the show floor at LabelExpo I got the chance talking to various people about the same, and it also seems that Duomedia has gone through a transformation process with up's and downs - like so many other companies.
The event took place in the TradeMart center just across the street from the expo-center, and it was actually fun to walk into a closed shopping mall, entering the escalators to the 2nd floor where the concrete room made into a place of people with a constant buzz of talks.
